The Khanyishe portfolio...

This is an unusual portfolio. It's not just the normal set of "cute model" photos. Many of the photos here are visual experiements taken from Test Shoots. Some of the photos are finished marketing images published in client campaigns. Particularly in the published images, you will see how a skilled photographic model becomes the focal point of the photo, the focus that tells the story...that eloquent silent narration.
Now here's a tip: If you are a model looking to break into the world of modelling, a good way to learn your trade and compile a portfolio is to ask good photographers for test shoots!

The Cove shoot...
The Cove test shoot is a good example of a well organised photo session. Not only did we both get some nice photos of Khanishe for the usual portfolio up-date, we also had the opportunity to explore a range of emotions. We wanted to step far outside the box...how to describe fear and anger in one shot.
We were rewarded with a very powerful set of images...
